Alternative Energy Sources and Energy Conservation Measures

  • The college has a solar power generation unit situated just behind the administrative building. The total capacity of the system is 10 kW. This is used for powering a complete block (B-block) of the college.
  • We use energy efficient (LED based) lighting sources in our buildings.
  • Use of energy efficient equipments is ensured in the college.
  • Most of the equipment that we use are sensor based.
  • The college canteen has a biogas generation unit working exclusively with the waste generated there.
