The Physical Education Department of St. Thomas College has produced many sportsmen of national and international repute. With its swimming pool, indoor stadium, health club with a 16-station multi gym, open-gym. Government sponsored sports hostels for athletics and volleyball, Jimmy George stadium and all sports-related infrastructural facilities, The department stands pre-eminent with its grand track records. Bachelor of sports management(BSM) aided three-year undergraduate degree programme was started in the academic year 2020-21. BSM programme provides a multidisciplinary approach to sports management education and offers an innovative, interdisciplinary curriculum that blends a classic sport focused education with professional development , networking and skills in the areas such as sports finance, sports law, sports marketing, sports operations and merchandising and sports events. The programme aims to provide participants with a complete understanding of sports management, together with tools to develop their career, higher learning and leadership.
