M.Sc Physics

The Post Graduate Programme in Physics began in 1965. The sanctioned strength is 18. The PG Programme in physics encompasses sixteen theory courses spread equally in all four semesters and a course on laboratory practical during each semester. There is also a project work at the end of the programme. The syllabus is based on, the emerging trends in various fields of theoretical and experimental physics. It aims to inculcate in students the spirit of hard work and research aptitude to pursue higher education in nationally or internationally reputed institutions and laboratories.
