The Association of Political Science department has a legacy and history through these years and it is always in front to promote academic and co-curricular activities. The association aims to provide a platform for the students to express their views, opinions and interests in various political and social issues. The formation of association happening through fair and transparent election procedure. Association consist of 11 members including President, Vice President, and Secretary, Joint Secretary, Staff Guide and other class representatives. With a clear vision and mutual hard work of students and staff, the association envisages the uplift of every aspects of the department including academic and extracurricular activities. The association helps to promote the mind of unity among the members of political science family by conducting different occasions like association day, seminars, cultural programs and other day-celebrations. Political Science association holds the hope and courage towards the future as to acquire its aspirational goals.

The inauguration of the Political Science Association was held on 23/12/ 2021. Mishel Babu Karackal, the President of the Association presided over the function. Dr. James John Mangalathu, Principal, St. Thomas College, Palai delivered the key note address. George Thomas of II MA Political Science welcomed the gathering. Head of the Department, Dr. Sijo K Manuel felicitated the function. Dr. Mathew Varghese, Assistant Professor, SIRP, Mahatma Gandhi University inaugurated the activities of Political Science Association of the academic year 2021-2022. Edwin Jaise, Secretary of the Association proposed the vote of thanks.
Political Science Association Inauguration-KALOPSIA
The Political Science Association Inauguration-KALOPSIA was held on 11th November 2022. The Association Activites of 2022-2023 was formally inaugurated by Prof. Mary Senterla P.S
The inauguration of the activities of the Political Science Association for the year was carried out by Rev. Dr., Principal, S.B. College, Changanacherry. He stated that associations play a vital role in the development of human personality. He also stated that the Political Science Association is an association for creating political awareness and political education among the students. Dr. K. K. Jose, Principal commended on the role of Political Science Association for creating political consciousness among the students. Rev. Fr. Mathew Kurian, Chief Co-coordinator of the programme, also spoke on the occasion. Prof. Mathew Sebastian, HOD of Politics, welcomed the distinguished guests, teachers and students and Ms. Aswathy A.S. proposed vote of thanks.
