Gravitas: Platinum Jubilee Lecture Series

Mr. William Dalrymple, the world-renowned British historian and author, inaugurated the Platinum Jubilee Lecture Series “Gravitas” on Monday, 2 December 2024. A distinguished Fellow of both the Royal Society of Literature and the Royal Asiatic Society, Mr. Dalrymple also introduced his latest book, The Golden Road, during the event. In his keynote address, he explored the transformative influence of ancient Indian thought on global civilizations. As part of the Gravitas series, all departments hosted invited lectures by eminent resource persons.
