Reception to Prof. C.J. Sebastian and Prof. Joseph Mattam

The Malayalam Association accorded a grand reception to two eminent former professors of the Department of Malayalam on 24 February 2011. Prof. C. J. Sebastian on his sapthathy and Prof. Joseph Mattam on winning the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award for lifetime achievement. Prof. Joseph Mattam is a well known novelist and translator of Malayalam literature who has authored more than 100 books. A seminar on his novels was also conducted in which Prof. Mathew Ulakamthara and Prof. Augustine Kommattam presented papers.
