Batchwise get-together

Representatives if any, of various batches may keep in touch with the College. Batches can arrange their get-together in the campus on holidays.

The St. Thomas College Alumni Association is a vibrant organization dedicated to fostering strong connections and regular interactions among the college’s former students. The association has established an endowment fund to honor the founding fathers of the college: the late Bishop Mar Sebastian Vayalil, the founder-patron; the late Msgr. Joseph Kureethadom, the former principal; and the late Prof. V.J. Joseph, the first vice-principal.

The association has various chapters abroad, including Pastcos in Kuwait, the Bahrain Alumni Association, and the Doha Alumni Association. All graduates of St. Thomas College are automatically members of the association.

In collaboration with the George Thomas Kottukapally Trust, the Alumni Association has instituted an award worth Rs. 1 lakh for the “Most Ethical Businessman.” This award commemorates Mr. George Thomas Kottukapally Ex-MP, who played a pivotal role in the founding of the college. The Kottukapally family has contributed a corpus sum of Rs. Eleven lakhs for this purpose.

Generous contributions from our esteemed alumni, philanthropists, and well-wishers play a crucial role in the success of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations at St. Thomas College Palai (Autonomous). These donations are essential for the completion of the Platinum Jubilee Memorial Administrative Block, other key projects, and the overall festivities. The total estimated cost for the Platinum Jubilee projects is 20 crores.
